hi there,

i have just sat the C&G 2382-101, with the understanding that this is the certificate for th 17th edition. but can only find results for C&G 2382-10/12 on google. am i missing something or worrying about nothing? lol.
 
To achieve the Level 3 Award in Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: June 2008 (2011) (2382-12) learners must achieve 4 credits from the mandatory units.

Unit accreditation number: J/503/4802
City & Guilds unit number: 101
Unit title: Requirements of BS7671:2008 (2011) and its application to electrical installations
Credit value: 4
 
What you worrying about, it was an open book exam so how the hell can you possibly FAIL?? lol!!

Easy when the company I worked for put us on it, 2 guys did but that was down to the fact they could not use a computer and hit the finish button after 1 question. They thought it meant have you finished answering that question, a box came up saying something please confirm so when they clicked on yes the next screen that came up said exam completed.

Sounds like a bit of incompetance on the part of the training center. When I did it, we actually got to go through the programme on a laptop for about half a hour to ensure we knew how the exam worked.
 
Same way you can fail a French exam with a French dictionary in front of you!


Listen if you can't Pass an ''Open Book'' exam then god help You!! As for your French exam example, ....does a dictionary give you the answers to the questions set in the exam, if they did, i have no doubt they wouldn't be allowed in the exam room!! Same thing really as having a calculators allowed in closed book exams... lol!!
