C&g 2392

Just wondering what books would be useful to help with the C&G2392 course - also is there anywhere you can download past exam questions - anything to help out really. Presumably the 2392 isn't enough to be qualified in Testing and I would need to follow it up with the 2391? Thanks all.

Thanks for offering to send some questions for C&G2392 - my email address is [email protected] Sorry to be pain but are there are any reference books I can get for my son to help him with C&G2392 course? Also, do you think he should do the 2392 before the 2391 - his argument is if he fails the 2391 he could take it again but if he passes he wouldn't have to pay for the 2392 and the 2391. This is all Japanese to me! Thanks again.

Really only your son will know if he feels confident in taking the 2391-10. The 2392 is literally a feeder course into the 2391-10 which is a harder course.

Personally I would take the 2391-10 as you pay for the course and if you fail it is just an exam fee to resit. I don't know the exact pricing but I would imagine you could take quite a few resits to make up the equivilient price of the 2392 course.

Saying that the 2392 is a recognised level 2 course and by having it you will show a certain amount of competancy regarding testing and inspection.

It really is his call.

As for books well the BS 7671-2208 which I assume he as.

He will have to get this

Unfortunately I don't think they do an exam success book for the 2392 as of yet.

2391 is the inspection and testing one. this shows you how to test and fill in the sheets. guidence notes 3 testing
2392 is actualy 2400 design and varification this shows you desin and you have to complete a project. guidence notes 1 design and varification

really..... last time i checked it was a single phase test and inspection course with a online gola exam !!!graded at level 2 and designed as a stepper course to complete the 2391-10

2400 is a totally different course!! maybe 2391-20
