Morning,

Has anyone got any experience of the 2396 Design qualification? I'd like to know what it entails and how much time it takes. AFAIK there is an exam and coursework but that's about the end of my knowledge.

So, in summary, is it worth doing? Will I be able to fit it in around running my own business, or would it be better to wait until things have settled a little?

Cheers,

Dan

It will do that, but it is hard work.
The recommended time for the project is 40 hours. No-one in our group managed that, they were all in the 50+ hours. It's a while back, but I think it was nearer 70 for me.
I did the Course over 5 consecutive days, 8am till 5pm every day - it was really full on, and even then we could have spent more time on it. The exam was the following week, and the project over the next 3 months - although I think you have up to a year to submit it.

Worth doing it, the exam i didn't stop writing for the 3 hours and the time just went so fast could easily of write so much more. The project took me about 80hr ish mark and again could of done more if i had more free time.
