I have just completed C&G 2365 Level 2, and was wondering if anyone knew if I'd be able to join in the 2nd year of a 4 year apprenticeship. I've tried speaking to JTL about it, but not come back to me with anything

Thanks

ask them about an advanced aprentaship.

they will take a copy of your cert and you will just have to do the bits you havent covered e.g. lvl3,logbook and am2 etc.

i did the 2330 lvl2+3 then transferred to jtl apprentaship

You start from scratch mate, the only unit that bridges over from level 2 is the health and safety unit. I did level 2 and had to start an apprenticeship from scratch, it's worth it in the long run! Good luck buddy

Yes mate as he's only completed the level 2 and the advanced apprenticeship is level 3 . If he had completed the level 3 as well, he would only have to do 2 bridging units on the 2357, well that's what happened to me last year.

what im saying is i would have though he would just start at the level3 as he has already done level2 with no bridging course needed.

the only thing i did was an enviromental unit that any joe public off the street could pass

i was in the exact same position as you mate but luckily had been working as a mate before. i managed to find a company to just do like a 2 year apprenticeship continuing from my level 2 which i already had...have a good look around and dont just rely on jtl they are good but sometimes you have to take the initiative
