Hi,

Wondering what is the best and easiest way to chase cables in a domestic house thats is complete and with tenants in,

So there is furniture and the walls have been decorated so needing the best way to chase cables for a full rewire without causing alot of damage to the walls,

Board is by front door easy access to ceiling above but was mostly comcerned about the drops to light switches and sockets on the ground and first floor,

Is a 3 bed house with attic thanks.

makes me luagh this does when a customer wants their house rewired but then they say you wont make a mess will you becuase ive just decorated

yeh the one thats better than that is when they don`t want the chasing cos they will have to decorate when the place is a shambles:) just can`t win with some of them

Yea did one recently , guy got really upset - even took pictures

Is it really possible to do a full rewire without making a mess? My double disc chaser makes a lot of dust even with a powerful vac. Suggest tenants and furniture move out for a couple of weeks.

even with stud walls you get a little bit of mess but it can be kept to a minimum with dust sheets etc. a mate and me did one 3 bed semi over the weekend come sunday teatime everything was packed away you would not have known we were there . the stuff you put down on the stair carpet is great it brings it up better than new sometimes. heard one customer say wow they have had the stair carpet shampooed :)

true but in the world we live in today he would have to do a risk assessment on pouring that boiling water into the cup. i would love to see a ra for say a restaurant, knives boiling water hot pans slip trip hazards the list would be exhaustive
