Would just like to know if its by the regs to extend a ring using crimps..(kitchen fitted, customer wants another socket)..
 
all depends on how and where you are extending it. if it's in back of a socket outlet, then you only need to join 1 cable to another. crimps or wagos. might need to fit a deeper box, though.
 
sod it...if its kev kitchen that its for...then he`ll be happy with the ends twisted together...
oh and if the knockout box is too shallow...never mind, just make the joint outside of it...plaster it into the wall.....
voltage will dissapear from the wall as soon as the plaster dries.....
