Cable pulleys/Heavy duty cable installation

S

SensesFailYou

Hi guys going to be putting 2 times 95mm2 5 core onto a ladder system and was wondering where i can get pulleys from and wheels to mount above the ladder so when its pulled in its not in contact with the ladder system and then it can be placed onto the ladder once its all been ran in? Or what the best things to use are? Can these be hired and where from?

Many thanks

It's amazing how well Internet search engines work. Have you tried them?

Oh no it's easier to post on here and get someone else to do stuff for you.

if its on a ladder you will probz be able to get away without them

That very much depends on the pull!! Cable wheels will generally help the pulling and relieve the cable of any stress, and will also help in not damaging the sheath during the pull. I swear by them for any long or awkward cable runs be it on tray, ladders or for groundwork trench....

Use some spare single core wire to tie them down onto the rack,as they can tend to follow the cable if they are not tied down.
