What sort of cables?
Cables always get tangled up, but normally due to the bloke watching the drums not being on the ball, and the fact that material unwound from a coil will always tend to try to reform that coil.

You are talking about dispensing of cables like it is controlled by a machine or something? It isn't in normal electrical work, the drums of cable are put onto any convenient pole or whatever and you just pull on the cable to get what you need

Also type of cable can have an effect.
Alarm cable seems more likely to tangle than other types.
Singles more likely to tangle than T&E.
Then there's rate of pull....

...The drum can do what it wants...it's a new sock,a 12 tonne winch, and the cable was lubed...something's coming through...:cool3:

actually im looking into manual cranking, if crank to fast it will tangle easily, especially when products which doesn't have any sort of way to manage the tangling. Even if have, relating to the comments above, the products are added onto the reels itself. ive thought of a product that could stop automatically unless you continue to crank then it unlocks to wind the cables back up via a embedded tool to untangle and fix a holder to stop the wires from dangling.

but i do need help with the questions at the first post in order to prove it that theres a need for this product because im starting to record comments about this tread on my journal. ill apologise now if anyone still thinks this is like the previous forum but the question here could help me with my journal. im still learning though so thats why im asking for these questions to be answered. you can fake it but i just need prove to ensure that im able to start complying all the ideas for a final product. btw im not fooling around since starting this new thread

about the type of reel dispenser, im doing a all type reel dispenser that every cable can be dispense from this cable reel, whether is a standard red blue brown wire to a fiber cable
