but what if its the ceiling that you are trying to wire, not just the 3 core pvc cables, even fibre wire might sometime goes through the ceiling, ive done a reseach on the ways to dispence cable and this is the picture ive found View attachment 31478and besides there might be some amateurs that want to only use a fixed amount of cables, for uses like study purposes, simplifying procress of finding the best and neat route for future renovations and even like using midi cable to route from the hall to the canteen and wanted to prevent overrunning of wires if the product is tripped by a person

Installing fibre optics is a bit more specialist than installing mains cables!
Amateurs should not be carrying out electrical work full stop, electricity kills within a fraction of a second.
Why would you ant to install long midi cables? Normally midi interconnects would only be short distances between pieces of equipment?

Debra Meaden Duncan Bannatyne and myself are all out .

" This is a preposterous idea that nobody cares about , cable dispensers are already available and they work, sparks have far worse problems to deal with "

Over to Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis

Sorry that doesn't make sense. We buy cable in 100m drum normally and pull it in then cut it off once it's installed. You don't measure off an amount of cable to install, the extra work involved in measuring the length required would be ridiculous
every electrician usually buys 100m drums or longer.

ive spent most of my time working with 500m drums of control cable. now one size dispenser wont work.

the only reason id use a set of jacks is if im pulling in multiple cables, say 6 at a time.

hi guys sry for the confusion for the two weeks, but ill like to know if excess cable could cause a problem when routing from point to point( i want to prove that it is possible to dispense a fix amount of cables. An example lets say that i have a 100m cable and its too much to be routed from the side of a stage to the centre, if there is no cable management, no tape, Can pulling a fix amount of cables solve the problem preventing a slip and fall incident?)
