17th edition

Hi guys, was wondering if anyone could clear this up?
If I run a sub main from a barn to a farmhouse which i am making TT earthing (the farmhouse), do I have to cover the sub main with an rcd at the source or can I just cover the house upon entry and can the one in the house just be the 30mA rcds in the 17th edition board or do I go to a 100mA before the board?
Thanks

The cable is buried in a trench
