besides the megger dmm look like a cheap Chinese knockoff compared to other brands like fluke, agililent etc
have a look at eevblog review on youtube.Been looking for a new meter myself seen as my current ones starting to show its age, the fluke 117 caught my eye but after looking into it they are made in China and not the US so started looking at the fluke 177 seen as the 170 series are yank made but while I was looking I came across the megger AVO410 which is a good bit cheaper than the 170 but I've never seen many lads on the tools use them
Also fluke **** me off, the charge top whack for their meters then you have to buy decent leads and a case separately, if you end up getting either of the flukes let me know how you get on with it mate I won't be replacing mine for another month or two had to make some other expensive purchases recently
would have lost it i set 115 with phone and 130 with pc in last 10 secsHaha you nearly didn't mate I was gonna stick 120 quid on that but went and made a cuppa instead I've got my eye on another one
its enroute.I can't believe someone on here actually took my advice![]()
Best of luck with it the continuity buzzer is good and loud compared to 11x series
