Ive just designed and successfully tested a perpetual motion machine now once ive powered it up via the mains i can unhook the power and it will provide enough energy to run itself with 40% spare ... can i feed this into the grid and get a feed in tariff?

One guy has clocked up nearly 500 posts with his mad idea, we had to ask the mods not to ban him, he’s so much fun!

Like the opposite of our friend Regs?

Boydy

Our friend in the good ol' US of A was polite and a great guy at all times.

As far as I can gather he’s been writing his papers on over unity machines for 20 years. I've only seen them for five years.

He is a true gentleman and we treat him that way.

Come now lads, the perpetual machine has got to be out there waiting for invention,it just gotta be

A perpetual story
Des the apprentice (thats me) and his college mate managed to design one many moons ago

I had just started out in electrics and decided a battery could run a motor, which could run a genny, which could charge the battery and so on and so on.perpetual motion was solved

I stole the idea and presented the idea to a sparks, he told me there would be friction between us.especially when others got wind of it,I worried in case we lost the copper we used

About the nearest anyone’s going to get is the Sterling engine. Not a chance of it working in these climbs. It can run on magnified sunlight, as I said, no bloody chance!

Who ever comes up with a rain powered car can have my entire fortune of £3-7/6d.

I can't see anyone taking you up on that Tony, but for 2 bob more I will let you buy my anti gravity belt

This is getting me nowhere. I’m supposed to be writing a serious piece about suicide* shunts!

Sod it I’ve just had five Bloody Mary’s, I don’t care at the moment.

*Look up Ward Leonard control.

What a synical bunch you lot are.
I actually built such a device, it's in my garage.
Its an old bicycle wheel housed in a perspex vacuum box that's cooled to 0.001 Kelvin. ( must try harder).
The wheel levitates via a super conductive plasma flux.
It has been rotating un-aided for nearly six year's and the only grattitude i get is a visit from the police who were convince they would find a small chinese boy crouched on a dirty mattress under the stair's behind a jungle of weed.
I recently tried attatching a dynamo ( from the same old bike) to the wheel but it stopped.
My next project............
........ a ladder to the moon :smart:
