Hello,

I am about to embark on completing the C&G 2365 level 3 diploma, but I was curious about the portfolio evidence gathering required at the end of the process. I have a few construction friends who work in Scotland as well as Australia and New Zealand who were keen to let me effective work as an electricins mate/improver while I am gaining the qualification.

However, I am struggling to find accurate information about the requirements and documentation required to present jobs I have completed. Am I able to complete the portfolio in countries with different standards, and will they need to be signed off by someone who works under a different governing body?

Any information would be greatly appreciated! From what I have been reading, accurate and detailed information about the entire process is hard to come by.

Thanks, Jock

I can't see Scotland being an issue as they work to BS7671.

The other countries would not be suitable as they have their own wiring regulations, different cable types, different installation methods etc etc.

Thanks for the reply, that is what I figured. I find all the information around the C&G route to the diploma amazingly convoluted, even though I appreciate it is a non-traditional approach.
