Happy New Year etc. I have been asked to supply power to a a garge/spare bed out building.
This will be in swa in trench. Question: House has external meter cupboard so is it ok to put hendley box into
this and split tails to feed exisiting c/s in house and fused isolator for swa to garage. It seems pointless to take the swa into the house. So can I use the cupboard ? Thanks

Officially your not allowed to put anything inside the DNO's meter box. Sorry

Yes....the DNO get a bit funny about you putting anything other than a switchfuse for the main sub in their meter cabinets.
