I have been asked to wire a bollard light at a caravan park, its aroung 60m from the mains board. but would it be ok with the regs to come off a cavern pitch point to a ip rated fused spur isolator, photocell then to the light fitting.

I do a fair bit of work on caravan parks and your suggestion is really the only way of doing it as the main board is so far away. Most owners want a socket wired into a shed for a washing machine. As long its done properly the cable is protected and the pitch point is rcd protected the way you suggest should be fine.

"It works" and "it's safe" are not necessarily the same thing. With DIY work, they are often far from the same thing.
