Strange question I know, but does anyone know the current carrying capacity of titanium wire.
I have some titanium wire for anodising but could do with knowing if the CCC is more or less than equivalent aluminium wire.

Thanks!

The cheapest insulator of them all, air!
There is a bus bar which is at a maximum of 20v DC, the titanium wire connects the bus bar to the part being anodised in a strong acid solution. It can't be insulated.

I currently use aluminium, but this (without going into too much detail) can only easily be used once as it anodises along with the part. Titanium wire won't anodise (again, not going into too much detail!) so can be used repeatedly. The aluminium sometimes burns out so I'd like to try and sort out my settings before I dissolve titanium in my acid tank which will contaminate it.

Also, the only titanium wire I can find cheaply(!) is slightly thinner than the aluminium wire I currently use.
