63a supply to a switch fuse isolator in lift motor room. 63a tp bs88 fuses then 1 meter piece of 5 core 6mm yy flex into lift panel. Anybody know the ccc of the yy cable? Is this a code 2 as I'm sure it's under 63a or no code as it's only 1 meter of cable to the lift panel?

you could say it's a fixed load, so the 63A fuses only need to provide fault protection and not overload.

Your test finishes at the switch fuse, as you say its a 63amp supply to the switch fuse are the fuses not derated within the switch fuse, the panel may come under a fixed load clause therefore no O/L protection of cable required but that would be for the lift engineer to certify his side of the install..... Im sure by now if the cable was under sized there would be good evidence to show this...

You could check the ELI at the lift panel power terminals and make a comment if it fails but again this is not within your test criteria you stop at the switch fuse and at most comment on any obvious physical damage.
