Can anyone recommend any training centres that offer the above training packages? Or would it be best approaching a manufacturer direct?

There isn`t any real training or college courses as such....but most manufactures run courses on the own products, Contact System Q, for cctv, and Paxton for their inhouse training.

We install a broad range of access control and CCTV systems.

Although none of our Engineers have attended any of these courses, I have been tempted to send them to TAVCOM.

The courses aren't cheap but I understand they are great quality so take a look.

Some colleges also have courses as well.

In the main, each CCTV and Access Control brand have a training package - some brands will only allow you to procure and install their equipment once you have received their training - and not all training is free either.

Like earlier posts, if you just want to dip your toe in, then I recommend Paxton (for access control) and System Q / Axis (for cctv)

Good luck!

I have bought products from system Q, Great company, service, advice etc. However I first put my name down for CCTV course almost 2 years ago and heard nothing.
Anyway, I've always been told, that in life there are only 2 courses worth going on! 1. golf course and the other inter.........
