Just doing some work to my Design project and on the plans there are 2x double sockets located in the ceiling void.

Just looking for opinions on what the design current might be as I'm not sure what these sockets will be used for?

Actually thinking about it, it's a car showroom and these CV sockets are directly above the hospitality/seating area so I guess there could be a couple of LCD screens for advertisements....

They would probably, as you've rightly guessed, for AV equipment.

If these are on their own circuit then I'd be looking at 20 amp OCPD.

I forget to add, it's your design so basically you can do what the **** you want.

I take it the design is for a car sales/workshop this time around?

I would normally put on on dedicated radial circuit for projector and motorised screen rather on a general FRC.

Car showrooms love electronic information sales boards some of these I would want on a timer so turned off late at night but visible to cover any window shoppers in the evening dependent on site location.
