Hey Guys.

I recently flooded my 1999 Toyota Hilux in a river and I have been having issues with my central locking. I can unlock all of the doors using the key or door switch, but the central locking wont lock the doors, so I have to lock each door manually.

I was looking at the schematic (first two pictures) and I am assuming that the integration relay is what would most likely be at fault. If that is the case, would I be correct in thinking that I could fix the issue with a remote controlled central locking system? I was thinking I could basically replace the integration relay with the aftermarket unit by wiring pins 3 and 4 from the aftermarket unit into to the lock motor circuit and then splicing wires 5 and 6 into the lock and unlock signal that go into my integration relay.

I have minimal experience with electronics and I am still having trouble wrapping my head around this so I thought I'd ask for advice before I start pulling my car apart.

Thanks in advance.
