ceramic hob and oven installation.

I'm repacing a free standing cooker with a ceramic hob and separate oven. I already have a control switch and 1 oulet box. Is it good practice to have 2 separate outlet boxes, separately spurred from the switch, or wired in series? Or can i connect the two appliances from the same outlet box? thanks in advance.

find out what the ratings of these loads are and assess if the existing cable is up to it as well..using the diversity calcs in the OSG

kitchens are not recognised by bs as special locations but are by building regs, rcd required but there is allready one fitted going by picture
