Needed an extra pair of hands on a job so I got Matt in for last week and a few days next week. Level 2 trainee and needs some testing experience in the real world so here you go Matt:-

You are 2nd fixing the remaining 4 RFC's on this job, once each circuit is finished you are testing them by yourself!!!!

You've already 2nd fixed and tested one RFC with me sitting on your shoulder and did a good job of it, now your doing the rest by yourself. :willy_nilly:

Once you have done that I will show you how to test the Klik lighting circuits using a couple of different methods. (once the stud wall is built so I can wire up the grid switches lol).

See you Monday Matt, bring your game face

Matt don't forget to take an Apple for the teacher, although Knowing Paul, he would rather have a double sausage n egg McMuffin meal

Its really good to see an experienced electrician helping out a trainee. Props to you Paul M.

Agree with you Ste69 need more fellas like Paul.M to help on the practical side of things.

I've been in your shoes and walked your path, did not get much help until I joined the forum. Other members became my Mentors and have shown me the way. I am now a much better Electrician and a better businessman (ok running a small one man band + helping hands as and when needed) but I've reached my goal and passing it on. That's all. Now I have bigger goals via further education into other fields, 39 years old and still learning every day lol.

It does not take that much of an effort to help out a stranger make a better life for themselves, try it?

I've received help from this forum members, time to pay it back to those that ask for it/need it. Just ask Matt, Chris or Manda what I'm like in real life and on site. Daft as a brush but I know what I'm doing most of the time lol.

I'm just trying to make a positive effect on other peoples lives, thats all. Thanks for the acknowledgment, makes me push to do more.

Paul knows how much I appreciate what he does for me, and as others have said, its a shame we dont have more experienced guys like him to help us trainees out

I remember the first time Paul gave me some on site experience, and when I look back now I can see a massive difference from where I was then to the stage im at now

This wouldn't of been the case without the chances ive been given to get the all important site experience

Newcastle mate, though im willing to travel around the north east for the right placement. that's why ive put north east. Cheers
