Had an email from my wife, one of her friends husbands changed a light over and now it doesn't work. Dunno what people think sometimes, I can almost guarantee he mixed a neutral with sw/wire!

I wonder if people think, how hard can it be, electricians can do it?? lol

Anybody else get this?

I hate these jobs for family. I mean if they are honast from the start you know whats happened and its a easy fix.. However whern they say i have done nothing and now there is a problem. So outcomes the tester.. Errrrmmm dead short... Lests find the cause.. 30 mins later are you sure you have not done anything?? The fault is on this light and its impossible that it has ever worked unless by magic the terminal has come loose popped into the wrong terminal and then tightened again..

Aggggghhhh.. Well actually come to think of it i tried to change this light fitting and then it happend..

Thanks mate...... You absolute bell end....

I've even been to jobs and condemned garage wiring, had the customer agree to have it sorted, then weeks later when I return....all new cabling.
"why did you replace it all?" I ask them
"Haven't touched it" they reply.
Then I show them the picture I took on my phone at the previous visit and they go all quiet.

Why? just why?
