Hello fellas. I’ve got a protective device that has sod all written on it apart from the following..... series 3 Henley, pat no: 451302 can someone please tell me what the hell it is?

Thanks

This is for my niceic assessment. So I’m hoping I can somehow find out what it is

I’m not there now to pull the fuse but it’s not updated to a smart meter yet anyway mate to be honest

Don't pull the fuse just to read the writing on it, record it as not verified.
If you do pull the fuse and record what is in there the assessor will likely ask you how you found that information out. Cutting the seals and pulling the fuse is going to go down worse with the assessor than explaining why you didn't verify it.

N/V as you are unable to verify.
Agree with N/V but ask the assessor what do you do when you arrive at property and meter tails are undersized/ showing signs of deteriation/melting and property at high risk when you are carrying out consumer unit change? How do you isolate incoming tails without cutting ties to main cut out? He will like that question and you’ll get brownie points in asking ?

If it’s an EICR write LIM in the box’s and in the limitations write something about it being a sealed unit and cannot be verified.

Would not guess things on an EICR just to complete a section.

This information should not been too important (client should have details on install cert), if you need it due to meter tail sizes etc add a FI and state reasons.

If it is urgent then call the DNO there and then.
If it is not urgent then arrange a supply disconnection with the DNO.
