Tel whats your opinion on cumberlands "snecklifter"? Despite my stella aspirations I have performed lengthy and detailed research into proper beer, and probably have a fairly equal top 15 second placers. But try as I might Ahhh cannae knock sneckifter off top peg. And i include theakstons old, abbot ale, bombardier, black sheep, bishops finger, chocolate flavoured stout, and.....others

At home I used to drink cider but now it’s Perry, not the sweet horrible muck but dry.

My local serves Cumberland which I’ve definitely acquired a taste for. Just wandering a bit further a field there a pub with Barnsley bitter, an acquired taste but at £1-80 a pint I acquired the taste. It changes as the year goes on and the hops and barley change. There’s a new-ish place opened near me, which I’ve got to explore.

My mate was a gas fitter, worked at a brewery (Was I&C fitter) and they DID have FREE beer vending machines. Lancashire somewhere. They left nissed as pewt and carrying as many bottles as they could carry, this was when he was an apprentice, his gaffer drove the van into the wall at the British Gas yard and legged it

one of the best i was told of is in Germany the department stores have small bars so as the wife is buying clothes you can sit down enjoy a stine till you see the recepit later. Sainsburys have stella on offer at £20 for 2 packs of 18 440ml cans, max 4 packs per customer.
