'Ang on a minute I use a pipe cutter on SWA it works fine for me. I guess I have a superior pipe cutter (though I doubt it, i think it cost a pound. It must just be me)
Do you use chalk lines to line up D/Ls etc then? Is that the thing where theres a bit of string with chalk on it and you twang it to the surface to create a line?
I use a laser but it is well annoying the battery keeps going on it.
Do you rotate the pipe cutter towards it's 'guiding wheels' or away from? I always go away from them, and use them only to keep the line straight, rather than using them as an anchor point to press against as most plumbers seem to (now that plumbers don't solder anything)
