Happy New Year Everybody.
Lets face it, if you speed, you take your chance of being caught.
You may try to deny it but you will eventually have to hold your hands up and say "its a fair cop" and hope for the minimum points and fine.
What really annoys me is the lengths Huhne went to, especially in his position, to evade the law.
He should be fined heavily, jailed (and made to pay for his keep like old folk in a home) and if justice was justice, he should be put in the stocks and given a public birching before he goes to jail. He should also lose his job.
I would also do the same for all the MP's who were caught for expenses fraud - not the ones who made a genuine mistake but the ones who planned to steal and try to get away with it.
Cheers
Dave
