Did anyone get the My oven keeps tripping on Christmas Day ? That rears its head throughout the year !!

Nope, not me. I did get a call at three pm on Christmas eve asking could I install an oven that day though. I would have popped along but it was 10 miles away on other side of Newcastle city centre. I am guessing they tried to do it themselves last minute and got confused by the instructions or similar!

Had a call out on chrismas day 10-15 flats in dark, L2 dead. 400A fuse blew. Dno's problem.
Did come accross some angry faces.

I had one from an old (early 60s) bloke on my road saying his downstairs lights had gone, but no breakers were down and the rcd was on, then rang back 10 minutes later to say they were back on. I personally, don't think anything was wrong, he's a bit strange.

Cool, I'm only 50 so by your definition I am still young lol :)

Well, maybe more "approaching middle age obscurity" than "young" but at least you're not old!

In all honesty, I don't think that 50 or 60 is even old when it comes to work now, and I'd rather have someone your age working with me than someone my age or younger, most don't have a clue what they're doing or are rough as.
