If you're working alone on the domestic side then I can recommend these totes as they are smaller than the likes of the CK stuff yet still fit all of my day to day tools inside.

I would support the opinion of the contractor who works on site that say that they are a free for all. If like me though you only do your own jobs then they really are worth a trial, especially for the price :thumbsup

Ive been looking at these bags for a while anyone use one or are they pretty big? I have a stanley tool chest but get miffed carrying/wheeling it about so now its just full of bits i use now and then? Dunno what to do about tool bags those little technicians tote ones look sweet.

I'm will be starting my apprenticeship in September but I am working with the company the now and I just got these tools, I'm very pleased with the standard of the bag and all the tools.
the new magma range is much better than the older version of ck. all the tradesmen in my work have all complimented the bag. Saying its sturdy and should last long.

The bag has studs on the bottom that will help protect the bottom and the outside is made of a water-proof like material, the material in and outside the bag seems to be thick so should be able to carry a lot.

So on my opinion go ahead and buy it, I got it from another website for ÂŁ155.99 including VAT?

A supplier I used to deal with for fire alarm kit has become a supplier for ck tools and good prices.. I am going to contact them and tell them to look up this forum and maybe help a few members out..

whatever you need. and whatever you can afford..

i always thought about these kits but i just built it up bit by bit.. i know it doesnt all match but its all either bacho , ck and all got on offer in different places

None of my gear matches & I think it's better that way. If you have a pair of side cutters, pliers, & long nose pliers with matching handles 9 times out of ten you'll pick the wrong one out of yer tool bag. Same goes for screwdrivers with matching handles.

Some of my tools are over 40 years old & still going strong - unlike me !! :wheelchair:

If you go to that 'not allowed to be mentioned' general fixings public/trade wholesaler then its onlyÂŁ120.54 inc VAT for the premium kit. I know, I've purchased 2x for staff members.

Also, the open totes are great to use, i have both the square and larger rectangular one...excellent for popping the occasional extra tool into etc when needed (like drill driver etc)..however if your not careful you can end up just chucking bits into it and find your carrying an extra 4-5KGs of rubbish around for no reason other then you haven't cleared it out yet......Hang on that might just be me! lol

Definitely recommend them all tbh,,

I have had various different shapes and sizes from the ck range and have had no problems at all. i havent had any from the ck magam range yet though so cant comment.

Got myself the CK Magma technicians case - real tidy pece of kit, especially for office/domestic work or as hapened yesterday, I had to park up half a mile away from my first job.
Might treat myself to one of the small tote bags too, they look neat.

Just seen this on eBay looks similar to the ck

Build your kit up. Don't use the bags. Never found it up to the task. Doesnt wear well. Stanly Fatmax WL Technician Tool Tote. Best tool bag/tote I ever purchased. Might pay for it but worth every penny.
