Afternoon
Bought a bag of spuds from the Co-op the other day. Some had earth on them, some didn't. However, on the bag it said they were Class 2 potatoes. Do they need the earth or not?
Sorry for the simple question, but I only did a "One of your 5 a day wonder" courses so I'm not really a qualified greengrocer. In my defence I only do domestic fruit and veg. I leave commercial jobs to outside caterers.
(If it helps, the spuds are kept in a detached garage and the supply to my house is TN-S)
