Class I light fittings, no Earth, what would you do?

The issue is a non-starter in a way.
You've informed the customer he has an issue with his lighting circuit yet he doesnt want to replace cables or change fittings.
I'd be shrugging my shoulders and walking out the front door leaving him with a EICR with a big fat fail on it.
