Anyone know the setings for a serial printer when used with a megger cm500 MFT? Baud rate, stop bits, parity etc.
Cant find the info anywhere.... the handbook just mentions An " appropriate" printer.

I would try contacting the tech support at Megger for the info

Some tech support can be less than useful when asked the question on serial printers as they expect you to buy there dedicated printer

So if all else fails just try some settings till it works correctly, from past experience of using serial printers on various equipment the baud rate can be 1200, 4800 or 9600 with 1 stop bit and parity some equipment needs to have carriage return on as well or it all prints on one line also the handshake control setting is normally none but ocassionally hardware or software settings are used
