co2 detectors

Hello all can you tell me if any of you fit co2 detectors in a kitchen with a gas cooker or only in rooms with boilers/open fires many thanks paul

when you buy them they have guidelines as to where they are positioned ...a lot of factors will have to be considered like room size, shape etc also false alarm need avoiding as well as poor detection areas where drafts could be present i.e. by doors and windows.

CO2 is carbon dioxide
CO is carbon monoxide
