Cocealing TV cables (in wall)

A customer has asked about concealing his TV cables (HDMI, CAT 6, power etc) in the wall. He has a wall mounted TV about 1200mm off the floor, underneath he has a low level cabinet with all the doo-dahs in. He wants the cables to go into the wall at floor level and exit behind the TV. He'd like to have 'brushes' at either end of the duct and be able to put cables in or take them out as required.

Obviously the duct side of it is straight forward enough, basically just a huge chase and some ducting or trunking inserted and plastered over. The brushes part has me a bit stumped though. I've had a google but everything seems to be surface mount or at least and exposed lid. Anyone know of anything 'off the shelf' for this?

Why bother with containment when you have a cavity at your disposal?

It's an '80s build, so chances are it'll have the void filled with insulation. So even if I could get in there to cut a slot up it I wouldn't comply with the regs.

I'll cut a slice out of the block and plaster about 2" deep which will give me about 40mm for the duct/trunking depth and I can make it any width I want. I'll still have plenty of depth left for the plasterer to do his thing. That should leave room for everything he could want to go up it from a SCART through HDMI to CAT 6.

You shouldn't run cables in insulation...

Not to mention the impact it has on Part 'C' and Part 'L'. Electricians do have to work within all the regs, not just Part 'P'.
