Afternoon all,

just completed a domestic PIR and could do with some guidance on the coding of this situation;

Installation converted from TT to PME approx 12 years ago and the property was rewired around the same time and a spilt load board installed. However the 100mA RCD covering the TT system was left inplace between meter and CCU which effectively covers the non RCD protected side of the board (circuits to Lights and Immersion).

Code 2 because it's not 30mA?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Will.

Code 4, does not comply with current edition of BS 7671.

Up until the 17th there never was a requirement to provide additional protection to buried cables etc.

Just a note. Did you make sure that the 100mA Rcd was in fact a RCD and not a ELCB. Did you test it's operation.
