Ok the only reason im posting this is that im concerned... i have a thermostat and am convinced its not right... posted here before advice get someone to look at it... im certain it reads too low. the boiler Biasi Riva Compact HE MK 2 ... with drayton combi-stat. Two guys looked at it both said two wire. Part of me thinks this isnt right? I read and heard on this forum it may need natural also. Im sure its not accurate. I might be talk **** but if the boiler is coming off on it is doing no good to boiler switches etc. This is bugging me... sorry. Take now i have had heating on nice confortable temp... thermostat is lower.

If the stat is switching the Boiler / Pump on off then to all intents & purposes it is working, the problem may be that it's out of spec on it's temperature range & could have been so from new. The only real way to find out is to replace the Stat.

After reading the first post, I just dont quite see what is the users problem

Just turn the stat up a few degrees or down a few degrees to compensate
The scale on anything including a stat is only relative to what you want it to be,compensate

But, but, but, it stops me getting bored :)

Got to the bottom of this... wrong stat on there... hence why it never worked properly... i had to phone manufacturers to get this info... one heating guy got it wrong and offered no help really to fix it... really annoyed! I basically did his job for him...
