had the misfortune to install this today. came with isolator and RCDs. no MCBs .

as you can see, the guts are way out. caused by din rail being badly fixed. close on the left but 1/4" out at the right. all been wired up and fired up, so had to loose the din rail just to get cover on. got another visit for finishing off downlights, so will need to re-drill din rail and fix in alignment. what the buggers had done to get the lid on was to shove the RCDs and isolator to the left side. and the 6 LEDs that come on when you open the lid were no help at all . couples with needing a 3rd hand to hold the lid open whilst juggling the guts into position,

Electrical Trainee Jobbie Tel? not an electrician that's for sure

Similar vain I tested this nasty Protek board last week and as you can see all devices are adrift from the centre spine so I refitted them only to find the cover no longer fits so had to shift them all out again.

Is Protek a derivative of Proteus, Westy? because if it is I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole given the choice.

Probably from the same Chinese back yard and I wouldn't touch with a barge pole either it was part of a Periodic I was doing. The left side rcbos have rendered the left side earth bar all but inaccessible.

chint aren't too bad. plenty of room above the breakers, due to the solid internal tails not flopping about everywhere. still prefer BGand starbreaker though.
