i admire the effort that it must of took to fit , and explain to the customer, or evan worse, wife!!

IMO , it's not FIT, it's FFS. and i know buggerall about PV.

We may be doing ourselves a disservice - could have been done by the householder himself, or his mate down the pub. Showed the pic to my assessor (annual audit yesterday) and he says they've come across a number of d-i-y installs. Seems folk do all their homework, buy the stuff off the internet, but somehow miss the bit which says it has to be an MCS-registered install to qualify for the FiT. Then having saved himself the rip-off money that we installers rob him of, Mr Householder gets an expensive shock when he tries to get the payback. Poetic justice, I say.
