So how do you test these enviroments? I guess you just have to use the multi meter and intrinsically safe thermo camera , I have always just walk away when been ask to test these areas , you would probley course more harm than good taking the installation apart to inspect
Me, i would still use my intrinsically safe metrohm insulation meter, but then it's going to be very doubtful it'll be anywhere in Europe!! lol!!
That Metrohm meter was the standard insulation test kit used throughout the world in hazardous areas and still is outside of Europe. Not a single instance has ever been recorded anywhere, of that Metrohm intrinsically safe insulation meter ever having caused a single incident in over 40 years since it was first introduced... It's still manufactured and still available to overseas buyers....
I think there is one other intrinsically safe insulation meter on the market, but can't remember it's maker...
