Hi I'm using a 240 V fire alarm Electronic bell to be used as a door bell in a warehouse as it's a long run, 240v was the best option but on the connections to bell it has LL & NN im assuming this is in and out but if i want and time delay switch at front door which is 240v switching live how can i wire the bell. Can i have 1 switched feed in and thats it?
thanks

Since 1984 the is no such thing as a 240v fire alarm bell......love to know where you dug this up...secondly not sure i would be happy having an external door bell push button operating on 230v (ok could be ip rated, but not really practical)
If switching, distance is not a problem using say 12v, A localised psu could deal with this,

as its a long run that why we are using 240v. I have tried it on a plug and it works in terminal 2&4, sweet. the bell is inside and the switch is outside in a warehouse delivery. I am using a a Iprated time delay switch for button so it will ring for 5 seconds .
