Hi

does anybody know what the going rate would be to test a college with around 950 circuits?

A lot of dependencies really i.e, extent, what limitations have been agreed (if any), are you likely to get the remedial works etc.

Thanks

i took it on at ÂŁ8 per circuit but seems to be alot of work for that tracing circuits etc no previous reports or d/b schedules there not to sure how it going to work out yet.

NIC EIC tech line told me if you take Zs reading first you can put a tick in the R1 R2 box to save doing both does this sound right?.

Also when doing IR tests and getting low readings between Neutral and Earth are you expected to start disconnecting neutral and earths to identify which circuit the low readings are on as this could take hours on a big three phase board/

Thats a new one on me about niceic saying zs readings are accepatable to tick r1 & r2,i think they normally mean that when there are previous history of periodics ,some other approved niceic sparks on here will know more than me.that is a hell of a lot of circuits and legwork, have u a helper(someone competent)to help you?
