Have a cafe job to price this week, il get look tomorrow maybe.. 2000 sq ft..

I don't think he is going to go with steel pipe so nearly all my circuits is going to need rcd protection . I know there's roughly going to be 5-6 3 phase machines , and maybe 16 single phase circuits

im going to install 2x 8 way 3phase boards side by side , one board for 3 phase equipment with and up front rcd . The second board = 24 ways using Rcbos for single phase final circuits .

Does this sound the way Togo , il listen to how you would do it. Thx

big length of trunking straight down one side

cant you just fix flush metal boxes on battens, and take the steel conduit straight into them?
Else you could just use fast-fix boxes, I know there not metal, but I would use them, just makes sure you have a good earth to conduit from trunking

anyway it seems best soloution is to run with 2 new 3phases boards one at entrance and one at baqck end 40m away..

there is an exisiting single phase cu coming from 1 phase.. which looks a about 30 year old and hanging there not an rcd in sight.. so going to keep my work separate..

tnc-s earthing system

question.. if i run new board from main cut out, 3ph 100A, 40m to back of shop, does my ze have to be still below 0.35?

question. what is best way to fix trunking if is going to be surface mounted close to ceiling, to be able to tap off.??? angle brackets? but has to be tight to ceiling and able to acess it= mount on its side..

THE MORE IM THINKING ABOUT THIS AND GOING THROUGH LENNYS CABLE CALC SHEET, THERES NO WAY I NEED EVEN 50A OF EACH PHASE.....

IM DOWN 32A EACH PHASE AND THATS GIVING ME A 16mm cable.. with 0.5vd... i am a loose thinking taking 300A to back of shop , shoot the domestic pig
