I'm a 50 year old who's in the process of retraining (self funded) as a spark.
This year my intention is to start getting as much experience as possible (as a Mate or unpaid if necessary).
If you were in a similar position as me, and if you were able to dictate the type of work you'd do (domestic v commercial etc) what would you go for (on the basis that what I do in the short term is - I'm imagining - what I'll end up in for the next 15+ years)?
