i have been asked to do some work which is a electrcical instalation for a broadband mast which will consist of a feed into the a hut and then into a consumer unit which will then feed a light, sockets and f/s.

the owner has also asked for a completion certificate something which am not familar which as i am enrolled with the nic and usually just issue domestic certificates..

could some one enlighten me and sorry if i sound thick..

thanks

He is referring to and Electrical Instalation Certificate (EIC) as opposed to your Domestic Electrical Installation Certificate (DEIC).

If you're a domestic installer then you will need to use the green EIC's from the NIC as the red ones are outside of your scope.

Completion certificate,i take it he means electrical installation certificate, not sure if a 3 page eic would suffice,or a 6 page eic for approved contractors to fill out, need more details on supply.

Sorry Lenny but i disagree. For Domestic installations the DEIC is all that is required as a Completion Cert.
thats what lenny said  as this job isnt domestic and if the op is only registered as domestic installer he would need to use green certs exactly as lenny has advised

Tis what I said......Personally I dont define installing power supplies to broadband mast assemblies as domestic works. Therefore he will need to use EIC's (green ones if he chooses NIC ones) as the work is outside of his domestic installer scope.
