Hi guys,

I was wandering how much conduit bending do we do these days?

Do we do some complicated ones or only 90* and 45* ?

Thanks!

Plastic - bending springs.

Galv - A Hilmor Shortie, stocks and dies, file and a reamer. If you intend doing lots of galv work then a REMS amigo will be your best friend.

finished a job earlier this year, 6 months doing 25mm galv tube all surface, 90's, sets, double sets, bubble sets the lot. Hall stock and die, hacksaw, file, whiteboard marker pen, tape, file, grips, level holesaw and you are pretty much sorted. I love a bit of tube. Doing sexy tube is an art, you must be at one with the bender when you acheive bendlightenment you will be able to levitate like yoda and bend 25mm tube round your neck metres off the floor.:D

And remember the most important bit of conduit is your first bit!!!!!!! (galvi ) you will have a former with prob at least 5 marks on it!!! pick your mark bend a perfect 90 to a size you want then see how far you are out then adjust your sizes to suit!!! as for bubbles 45s and 90s easy ma biggest trouble always comes with the double 90s got them down to a tea now but had a few trophys!!!
