not that tricky.

put conduit in bender and rest bar on top.


then using an off cut (put it with side facing up so makes a T then set square (or easy method and use groove/mark on bender)

this is the centre of your bend.

now it depends if you were asked/are measuring to end off thread or couple/centre of box.



seriously its exactly the same as the plumbers method just the benders have a slightly different forn but you use them the same
