when I was an apprentice I used to spend all day making nipples, you will have arms like popeye with practice.
not that tricky.
put conduit in bender and rest bar on top.
then using an off cut (put it with side facing up so makes a T then set square (or easy method and use groove/mark on bender)
this is the centre of your bend.
now it depends if you were asked/are measuring to end off thread or couple/centre of box.
seriously its exactly the same as the plumbers method just the benders have a slightly different forn but you use them the same
