That’s a crap picture. At a guess that’s a picture of the hole you drill to get the bolt through.

I’ve never had a burr using punches.

Iv never seen or used one before. Are they long winded to use compared to a hole saw?

Their best "trick up their sleeve" is if you ever need to enlarge an existing hole from, say, 20 to 25mm and it needs to be off centre from the original, like...

...there is no better and quicker way than sheet metal punches.

The ratty looking hole in that advert isn't cut by the hole cutter being advertised by the looks of it. Weird...
