hi iv recently added to my kitchen ring for 2 new double skts in my new conservatory, have crimped the connections in behind the fast fix box, as i believe this is the correct way to do it rather than a junction box??!

im basically looking for info on what paperwork i need from a spark to get it signed off?

also looking to find out a rough cost of what this should be??

im in scotland so i should imagine prices will differ from the likes of london etc

regards

Most sparks won't sign it of as they aint done the work.

You will probably need to ask for a Periodic Inspection Report to be done.

Prices vary depending on the size of your electrical installation.

You may find it very difficult to find someone to sign off your work as that electrician will be accepting full responsibility for what you have done if cables are hidden etc he cannot see if its been done correctly.

Not much help I know but a fact of life.

Going to be very difficult to answer this can you not get in contact with the electrician who installed it.
