Finished a job about a month ago, 4 light industrial units, bog standard 3p and pme. Got a letter today from one of the 'consultants'.... the new occupiers of unit 3 are having a gas supply installed (no, I dont know why they didnt put it in in the first place either) and will need to be bonded to the main earthing terminal, a distance of about 20m. As there will be large fault currents flowing on both the neutral and earth confused:) the bonding cable will need to have a cross sectional area of 25mm. Also, it is recommended that this work is carried out on a Sunday as it is anticipated that the fault currents will be lower.
So, I have to bond the gas.
In 25mm.
On a Sunday.
Happy days Just praying the other three have gas put in
Steve.
