I have recently bought a house and the CU is a 6 way fuse wire type. And need some advice on choosin a replacement.

Looking for an 8 way CU. Ccts include - 5a heating pump, 5a lights & bell, 15a immersion heater, 30a skts, 30a skts, 30a cooker

I like hager or crabtree c/u. And i have a thing for rcbos lol. I would get a main switch 12way hager board and fill it with rcbos. Plus yourl have plenty of extra ways for the future :) plus.. bigger board = more room to make it neat and tidy :)

Like i said...thats what id do :)

You definatly need an electrician for this as after the change everything will need to be tested and certified using the proper equipment.

Post your location and someone maybe near by to help you out

Depends on how it's all wired, the heating pump, bell and immersion heater may not need RCD protection and being a 6 way board I'll assume there will be one or two additional circuits chucked in somewhere

Split board with ~2-4 RCBOs would be my choice depending on whats in it and hows it's run
